Goniopora Advice

I’ve decided that I’m going to try keeping a goniopora in my 2.5 G lps reef. My lfs keeps them in a high nutrient 3 G tank with a 6 W LED (I actually use the same light) and they’re doing amazing. Any other advice to give when keeping them? I’m really excited to get one.

I have the makings of a tiny garden, (currently 3 frags, one of which is about fist sized).

I find that they enjoy somewhat intense direct light (sand bed), with a good amount of flow (they have powerful stings, so give them room). I also feed mine regularly (2x per week) with lps pelllets, meaty foods, and reef roids.

I agree with the good amount of flow recommended. My red loves flow. Looking at the way it blows around you would think it was too much, but it loves it.
