I've noticed that my pink goniopora is not happy when photosynthesis is at it's peak later on in the day. This light peak also corresponds with a peak ph around 8.3 to 8.4. this seems to be the only coral affected by the higher pH. When the oh is low early on in the day when the light is just starting to ramp up the goniopora seems to be happiest. Has anyone else experienced this or have any insight into this?

Or could it be light intensity? Correlation doesn't always equal causation. Mine do well at a ph in that range. Po4 actually seems to affect them as much as light intensity. And for sure they love a higher Mg level.

P04 is always near zero. Could be light, but they don't get too much anyways being on the bottom of the tank.
