Hello,

just got this green Goni shipped to me a couple of days ago. It has never come out. It sorta looks to me like it’s dying maybe? Tank is 14months- 75g. 3 fish, 2 lg hammer corals, 1 lg Duncan colony, and about 7 small various corals.
First pic is 2 days ago- next is today.

What flow do you have it in ? And have you tried feeding it ?

An MP40 with a pulse at the 4 mark. I feed oyster feast, plankton and Reef Roids, and some Mysis for the fish.

Gonis take a while to acclimate imo. But the polyps usually come out a little, not completely retracted like in the picture. Maybe give it more time

Sometimes with gonioporas you just don't know. I've had mine pull in for a few weeks only to reemerge as if nothing ever happened so unless you see tissue deterioration I would just be patient and see what happens.

do you target feed the goni? I have found this to be key to getting them to live in my tank despite heavy broadcast feeding.
I did earlier today- so crossing my fingers!

Thank you!
