So I just got this guy today; very healthy looking coral and for the price I had to take him home! I dipped with Brightwell Koral MD and it started opening up tonight. My question is and hopefully you can see the video: Is this too much flow for this Goniopora? I know they like flow but it looks like it getting blown around pretty hard. It's a wave maker so watch the full 15 second video as current whips in and out randomly.

I can’t watch the video but they like a descent amount of flow and it makes a big difference to the growth rate as well.

I've got around 8 in my 2 tanks and the ones in heavy turbulent flow seem to like it much better, certainly from a growth point of view.

Darn, not sure why the video won't play for some people but your response is enough to think it probably is sufficient. It was getting whipped around pretty good and was staying open. It was back in this morning when I woke up as the lights started ramping up but I assume it's probably just getting acclimated to the new light. Coming from Petco I can't imagine their lights are very strong and I have an AI Prime. I was very impressed though at how healthy it looked in their tanks. It's a higher end store in a high income area of the City of Rochester NY so they get some pretty nice stuff in and you can't beat their prices! They must have someone who knows what they're doing in their aquaria department cuz everything looked healthy for the most part.

If you want to see the flow I have, look on the first page of my build thread and scroll down to the first video and go to around 4 minutes and you will see it. It’s fairly heavy flow.

Oh wow. Yep I'm okay. Maybe a little less than I have but I'm getting another wave maker today cuz I need more flow throughout my tank.
