I bought this little guy about 3 months ago, and over time it has lost its deep red color. Although it has grown new heads, it has turned almost a translucent pink. I have had it at the bottom of my tank, and am wondering if it's not getting enough light. I have now raised it up to the top third of my tank. Hopefully it will do better there. Does anyone know if the translucent change is a sign of not enough light?

It's in a 57 Deep Blue tank with 2 AI Prime HDs for lighting.

I have two gonis in my tank. The long tentacle one has been doing amazing since day one but the short tentacle has been a lot more finicky.
As others have stated feeding is important. I had always fed mine reefroids but lately have been using benereef which I really like

I’ve kept these. They like light. Not high but slightly higher than medium. Medium flow. Bottom might not be enough light.
