Goniopora inflated like a balloon

Anyone with experience with gonioporas know why one would inflate? I'll upload a picture if he does it again. Someone else said it's his way of moving around.

I have seen them balloon when they catch some food. Did you recently feed when this happened?

I did do some reef roids the day before hand, its possible!

My large tracy inflated to a size of a soccer ball. It was quite alarming but I think it comes from happy feeding.
