Hi reefers,
I have three Gonioporas. One pink, one green and one blue. The blue one seems fine but the green one next it seems all fallen over and not staying up right however it does extend. My pink seems to not extend very much and see little to no growth on it. I’ve had the pink one for several months and the other two over a month. I’ll attach some pictures for you guys to see. All advice if very much appreciated.

Parameters:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 10
Phosphate - 0.03
Alkalinity - 10
Calcium - 450
Magnesium - 1350
Ph - 8
S.G - 1.024

Thanks in advance

regards,
Rubin

Are you feeding it(them)?

They all look healthy, actually. It could be that they're not getting enough flow. I know mine aren't happy if I place them directly on the sand - they need to be raised up a bit on a rock. Supplemental feeding (aminos, Reef roids, phytoplankton) - as suggested, can also help.

Totally agree - or more flow on the bottom.

Great thanks I’ll try move them further up on the rock work and see how they do. And yes I do feed them :)

I have some that have just exploded in growth - and others that have remained relatively small. Just luck of the draw sometimes, I guess.
