hey guys.
2 days ago i had a temp rise to 30 deg due to ac and lowered it to 25.5 degrees within 18-20 hours and now stable at 25.5, at first all corals werw closed and stressed, but the next day they were all doing well expect my red goni i have never seen it this closed,
any tips or advice would be so appreciated
thankyou guys.

that's pretty dramatic temp spike, id just be patient with it and hope it recovers at the normal temp. Ive had some close for 4-5 days before getting comfortable again because of some issue

some are also just intolerable of the change and slowly die :(

My flowerpots don't like being directly on the substrate (preferring instead to be slightly higher on a flat rock). My goni closed up for about a week unexpectedly, so I relocated it across the tank and now it's doing better.

i used to have it in the sand on my other display but recently moved it to the nano and i have placed it up and it never open up full i then put it back on the sand becuase the aquascape on the nano is not flat.
but i will just hope and see

that would suck so much if it doesn't make it, i just don't understand my brains are doing well and hammer and plate etc except the goni, anyways i hope it pulls through

This, I've NEVER had luck woth goni or alveopora long term. It will start out great and suddenly NOPE, I'm not opening anymore. Then the usual brownout and death.

I have like 2-3 gonis that are bulletproof and 3-4 that are super sensitive… they are a tricky lps
