Realized for the last week one of my two clowns has been all up in my favorite gonni. I guess there is not much I can do right? Both clowns and Goni been together since Jan of this year but have had the Goni for over a year and a half and this has not happened before. I am worried about the Goni dying and I feel it’s a miracle Just to have grown it out since it was 10 polyps big. It usually fluffs right back out in the late evening when they clowns are begging for food Wish I could make room for a anemone but not in the cards. It does look cool though. What would you do?

I had a pair of clowns that hosted in a frogspawn, never caused a problem with the coral and it still grew like crazy.

If it seems to be bothering the goni, the best bet is probably just moving the goni to the other side of the tank and hopefully the clowns don't just follow it.

Personally I do not like clowns hosting corals. It can cause issues even though it does not always cause issues.
Most gonis are way more sensitive than other corals. If the goni is not opening or seems to open less you need to intervene. I have seen clowns kill gonis.
Try moving the goni and if this does not work you may have to remove one or the other. He probably will follow or jump to another coral and it looks like you have other gonis.

You can always get a anemone too...
