Trying to select a decent sand (preferably dry) for my upcoming mixed reef. I'm starting with live rock already, so I'm not sure if live sand brings that much more to the table, but I'm certainly open to it. Goals are a mixed reef with more of a focus on SPS so a higher flow, but not so much I can't keep some fun LPS in lower areas of the tank within the more dead spots where flow is concerned. What won't move around as much? Anyone had some good experience, bad? Appreciate any input!

thanks,
rob

I love the bahama oolite but it's super fine. Great for sand creatures and sand sleeping wrasse
