Hi I’m looking for a effective but cheap light that will grow coral, show good colors on the coral, and preferably be controllable from a iPhone app. If anyone can provide links below it would be much appreciated as I’m not sure the important things to look for.
I have a 10 gallon tank.

Good things don’t come cheap in this hobby you get what you pay for. I’d say a AI prime 16hd but a ecotech xr15 G5 pro is better IMO.

you should check out the hypargero aqua knight, or a kessil a80 tuna blue. Niether are controllable with an app, but they are the best options for a cheap 10g build.

Bought Nicrew marine; no app; paid $40 on amazon; One blue and one white light setting; colours pop;

Then took my nicrew freshwater light that has adustable light settings and use both for the saltwater. Gives a different glow and colours still pop. Was in basement, but cost me $45 a few years ago

This actually made me giggle. They said cheap and the options you listed were 200 and 400 dollars. Not a knock on you, just had a laugh at what passes as "cheap" in lighting. Also, to OP, if you want all the features you're going to have to pay for them. As others have said you're looking at 200 about for a light that will do everything you listed and won't break in a month. AI Prime 16 is pretty great light at it's pricepoint.

Get a used Kessil A160. They go for about a hundred bucks at the marketplace here. Not controllable via iPhone but you should be able to dim them with the knobs on the light. I miss the shimmer of kessils

What he said, Kessil will go and go. I’ve had my a160 running non stop for 5-6 years and have never had to worry. My AI prime has been a headache will be going back to Kessil from now on

Noopsyche k7, Orphek bars, mars aqua, some of the reef brite bars. Heck fluval marine 3.0 will grow softies.

edit. Just realized you’ve got a 10 gallon. Ignore the above. None break the bank, but they’d nuke such a small tank. Sorry OP. ADD brain struck again

Vivarspectra, mars and SB Reef

AquaNeat LEDs are really powerful, and quite cheap. My only regret is that I don't know if they can be run with a dimmer or not...

Mars and viparspectra are good and inexpensive

I use current orbit marine pro. its not the cheapest, but its affordable. Prices range from 175 - 318, depending on size. I've had mine 5 yrs and it does a good job.

If you want smart phone controllable, then AI Prime 16 HD for $210 + $30 flex arm is your best bet. If that is too expensive, there are cheaper options, but you wont get the app.
