Good cover for rimless tanks

Maybe with all the money they are making from these very expensive tops, they could invest into some R and D as to figure out how to bring the cost down. I would love to have one of these tops , but not at more than I paid for my tank.

Do you know the cost of a CNC machine or the price of acrylic? Not to mention labor or setting it up for all the different tanks.
Doubt they are getting rich.

Really I do understand, but as the end consumer the final price is my real concern. I did not come to this thread to start any arguments, I just came to say these are very very expensive and not for everybody including me.
If you want to buy one and have money to blow then go for it.

It's funny you say you didn't come to the thread to start any arguments but then in the next statement you infer that by purchasing the lid we are "blowing" our money. It seems you did come to the thread to argue:-)

Sorry bro but it is my opinion and not an inference in any way. Opinions are like A## holes and everyone has got one so no need to worry what is said, as I do not. I come to this forum to find information that is no other place in the world, not to argue how some people spend their money. Even tho for ME it is to much as I am not a wealthy person, so I was looking for an option around 100$ and found out that it does not exist. So lets keep this on topic without animosity toward each other,as we are all here for information.

+1 on artfully acrylic. Ordered yesterday for my new drop off at $99 and feel its worth it. The classic and tsunami screens both are tough and nice looking. Wish it would be sooner than 2 week time frame but I know will be worth the wait.

3 separate pieces of glass works great for me especially for the 10$ cost. The lids pictured sure look great but dang those prices are high for just something that covers the tank.

covering is not the chief goal,,,,, it is about allowing light penetration and forbidding suicidal thoughts from tankmates who are ready to take the leap. Im a glass person myself but do have screens on my smaller units

I really hope they have indeed gotten their turnaround time to only two weeks, but mine took 2 months.

I'll be highly wild and just go glass if needs be.

Hey MadCityReefer, I am interested in the light hanging fixture you have for your ATI light. did you fabricated that light hanging fixture? or buy it from a company. I am in process of plumbing my new Reef Savvy 120g tank and looking into a hanging fixture. Beautiful tank and setup, do you have a build thread I can follow and ask question and ideas back and forth.

Thank you

Hello and thanks! Yea a friend of a friend made the light hanger. Stainless steal and matches the ATI LED power module light fixture.

WITHOUT STARTING A FINGER-POINTING RESPONSE. . . . . . .

Any others out there that ordered from artfully acrylics and can share the time it took to receive tops and their experience? I just acquired an artfully acrylic tank and surprised to hear it had to be made as this is their own product....hmmmm.

Ordered my Artfully Acrylic Clear View lid and paid for it on Jan 16, 2017 and the order was shipped March 3, 2017 but I’m sure there much quicker getting it made and shipped out by now. It took awhile but it was worth the wait!
