Hi guys, just noticed this while sitting here playing referee to my clowns. Anyone know what this is?

That is an aptasia. Take care of it quick! I use aptasia x. It works well. They are bad news in a Reef tank and can spread if not taken care of.

If your referring to the devil growing out from the bottom of the frag plug, its aiptasia. My suggestion is to remove it and set it on fire.

First appearance of these guys... but I did get 12 new frags recently.

Its on a frag rack, I can pluck it off there pretty easily. I know its not the best method, but I'm about to get some sleep before leaving at 4am. Pluck and peroxide?

If you can I would chisel off the part of the plug that has the aptasia and BURN IT! Do it out of water so it doesn't release "spores" (for lack of better word) into the water.

Thanks! I figured it was best to go nuclear since aiptasia seems to be analgous to tank herpes, and I don't want to know what an outbreak looks like.
