I'm a beginner (2 years in) with two tanks. My first is a 36 gallon fowlr, second a 12 gallon frag tank. Long story short, my 12 gallon is doing fantastic, perfect size to maintain in my little apartment. My 36 is real dirty and interestingly some new creatures showed up.

Starfish (little, white, replicating)
feather duster worms (lots of little ones on back glass)

My question is should I introduce any of these unexpected guests to my other tank? I'm about to downsize the 36, so it's a question or whether I flush these creatures or try to integrate them before the tank transition.

Thank you in advance for helping me make the right decision!

Feather dusters are good guys. Asterina stars are white and can be a nuisance. So those are bad guys. There are very tiny white serpent (or may be brittle) stars that I would call good guys.
