Does anyone know of a good lfs to get some LPS corals in the Long Beach area in Southern California? I'll be down there this weekend and I was hoping to have some time to get some coral! Thanks

Let’s see if we can ask some of my OC SCMAS buddies.

@Rakie @ndrwater @mdbannister

Age of Aquariums
2462 Cherry Avenue
Signal Hill, 90755
is a really good one
Down here behind the Orange Curtain where I live are a bunch too.

Amazing Reefs and Aquariums in Orange is great
Seaside Tropical Fish in HB is also worth the trip and always has weekly specials
Reef Lounge in Anaheim is usually good for fish and Corals
Two Guys Corals is mind boggling for coral. Almost across the street from Reef Lounge
Reef Raft USA is about 90 seconds from 2 Guys and has some of the best corals this side of the Mississippi, but definitely call 1st to see if he is in.
Coral Gazers in Santa Ana/Tustin is a place to find designer clowns and the rarities

There's an afternoon worth of "Store Tours" for you.

Have fun!!

That sounds like a really awesome day thank you so much for taking the time to map all that out for me now I'm really looking forward to this trip! ;)

I’d add LAX Aquarium to the list of interesting places to visit. It’s in the opposite direction from the OC stores listed above, but it borders on a public aquarium in terms of volume. They don’t QT their stock, so I always look at these purchases as a calculated risk. Most of their stock has arrived on an overnight flight in the past week.

Thank you. I was just at lax 2 weeks ago! But the more options the better! The one thing I really liked about lax was all the coral was marked with a price.
