I know you will find random things in a reef tank but what the heck is this! Found it on a magnet inside my tank looks like a extremely long white parasite of some sort on my magnifier magnet inside the tank here’s a photo.

Thanks for the fast response! How many could hatch? Curious it’s alittle too late I took them out the tank since I was scared it could be a parasite.

Probably none, they tend to get eaten, but never say never.

Snail eggs rarely hatch in reef tanks. The only one that have spawned in my tank are nacarius snails under the sand.

eggs either from nassarius or similar snail and will be caviar for the tank mates. Best chance of hatching is with cooler temperatures and few occupants
