Good Morning!

If you wanted a nice bird cage where would you look for one? One of Jill's friends wants to give us some lovebirds.
Just what we need with 5 cats in the house. A sturdy cage is required.

See how I get into these things. Jeanna brings the cats home and Jill the dogs and birds.
I used to have a larger size parrot and one thing to keep in mind is that, depending on your personality (if that's the right word) you may feel guilty getting the minimum required size for a cage. Other parrot owners I knew would say this. They can't can't move around a whole lot and you might feel like they should have more room. It's just like when you get a bamboo shark and realize you need a bigger tank than the 90 gal that the LFS said was fine.

He's getting love birds. I am sure they know what to get. It's just getting the right kind of cage and not being ripped off. ( I guess)

We have had several small conures in the past and 2 cockatiels. Birds are Jill's thing. I am just a helper.
I am not the one here telling you anything. You guys ... don't need no dang advice. Just the right cage for a good price is the hard part.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! Just ordered from the red bullseye store and heading out for a quick grocery run. Yesterday was great. Part of our resident family and I went to the local zoo. Toddler enjoyed it, but his favorite part was the wagons the zoo personnel pulled around. He wanted to play with all the wagons....forget the animals! It's going to heat up again for the next few days, but it's August! Enjoy your weekend. ;Joyful

Good morning Friends,

Birds, love em, but at this point in time, the mess outweighs the enjoyment.
Went to the animal shelter in search of our 14yrold cat, left with a dent in my car.
(Cat returned yesterday.) (Car repair next wk.)

And for the good news, pearly Jawfish have paired up! Woohoo!

Nothing exciting on the beach this morning. No half dead horse shoe crabs, no damsels in distress, no deer, no snakes, windmills or wood chucks. Just a normal morning on a deserted, rock strewn beach at sunrise.

Good Morning my Friends!
We had planned a day of fun stuff but a project came up. The ceiling fan in our living room burned out the motor this morning and I need to replace it today. Gotta have my air circulation.
I OWE, I OWE, ITS OFF TO LOWES I GO!
Have a good day all!

It is amazing to me that Paul is taking pictures of Long Island, NY!!!
Good Morning!! August 7, a day that shall live in infamy, oh wait, that is the radio and it said December 7, brain lurch.
I expect that today will just go down as another pleasant hot day in memory. Fill it with as much joy as you can.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Seeds everywhere. BUDDY BUDDY BUDDY GET THE PHONE, Trimming nails and beaks.
Jill want's to so we will. We ordered a cage on Amazon. Nothing available locally. All you can buy here now is a pack of cigarettes and some beer.

Good morning.
The new cat has been acclimating in the basement bedroom. Opened the door and released him last night. He slowly and cautiously made his way upstairs. Met my daughter’s cat(she got him about 3 months ago as a emotional support cat and has been approved to go to college with her). It went well. Touched noses and went on about their own business.

Then met our dog. It went well also. Although my dog met him in dog fashion and needed to smell his butt. lol

Then he went about exploring the rest of the house. He’s very cautiously curious about everything. However, he is afraid of ceiling fans for some reason.

Hope we find him a forever home soon. I have him posted on a few sites and someone said he has Bengal Cat (marble) markings So possibly he is at least part Bengal. That would explain some of his behaviors.

Hope everyone has a a great Saturday.

That's a plus, right? I don't touch either.
I love birds. If I wanted extra limbs with no control and beaks and claws, I would get birds again.
This was Skittles and Meowi.
I was never alone, ever. They made sure of it.

Good morning everyone!

Then there was Marco, Buddy, Pearly, Lewis and some others whos names escape me at the moment.

Marco was my Moms. He lived to be about 32. We took him after she passed.
Jeanna was asking how long lovebirds live.
Like I said. Jill is the bird person. I just have to do the heavy duty care stuff like taking a Dremel too to their beaks when they get old.

@Mibu, the torch gave me a frickin heart attack last night. I thought for sure it was dead, because I could see it’s skeleton so well. NOPE, sure enough, this morning it was perfectly fine.
