Good Morning!

Good Morning Everyone!
Mid 50’s this morning and very refreshing outside. I’ve been a busy little beaver the past few days. Getting lots of little projects done during this cool spell.
We may be making a trip into Nashville ( LFS and reptile store) tomorrow. I’m running low on Reef Frenzy and we need insects and pinky mice for Priscilla the opossum.
If the weather stays cool, I’m going to need to get started on building the hen house floor. They are real close to being able to get out under the wall and if they can get out, something can get in. Only so many bricks I can shove in the holes they are digging.
Hope Y’all have a great Friday.
Stay Safe, Healthy & Happy!

What does garlic do on a really hot day?
It takes its cloves off!

Good morning and happy Friday!
My new fish are doing well. Not eating as well as I would like but picking at stuff. They are in observation tank for a couple weeks. Being captive bread and coming from Pom Labs I’m not treating with anything now, just observing them. They are in the 2 1/2” to 3 1/2” size. Can’t wait for them to grow more and get their full adult colors. They also included a nice Conspicuous Angelfish sticker. Wish I could afford a pair of them, or even one, lol

Good morning! It's a beautiful day in the south. I love this time of year!

Pods are out for delivery. The little possum wrasse in the BioCube will be thrilled. :)

Have a great Friday and weekend! ;Joyful

good morning.
took the day off.
going to the fish store.
no not that kind of fish store.
the kind i will need recipes for.
happy friday everyone.
If you’re making Cioppino, I’ll be there by 6:00 for dinner! :p

Good morning everyone! I have always gotten along fine with one snail as my cuc, but decided to buy four yesterday after a rapid outbreak of Bryopsis. This morning I see that they ate a bunch of algae, including the long jungle stuff my other snail wouldn't touch. Good day so far! I fragged a few more of my Bloodsucker zoas. They have become sort of bullies, trying to take over the world. A month ago today I snipped off 2 polys at the stem and stuck them to a rock to see if they would survive. There are 6 today. They charge $80 for 2-3 polyps at WWC, so I guess I can sell a few. Have a great weekend!

the trip got nixed by the boss lady.
she pointed out, with no OT and both of us "retiring" at the end of the month,
we didn't need to spend the money. there's plenty in the stand up freezer to use up.
this was pointed out after i told her she had to cut back on her hobby expenditures.

You guys (and gals) always make me laugh. Thank you for that. I've really needed it this week!

My AlgaeBarn pods arrived and look great. Half went into the fuge in the 90 and the other half went into the BioCube. The possum wrasse was thrilled. He spends all day on the hunt for those little critters. The resident 2-year-old filled one of the empty plastic jars with "bee-wtiful gween acurns." Gotta love acorns! I wonder if they're reef safe? ;Joyful

Good morning.
Found a snake in the fishroom inside my fuge. Or maybe a worm. Same thing.

I found these super manly filter socks and needed to make something to use them

I made a vat to react lanthanum chloride in and drained it to the sump. 7 x 32in 5 micron socks.
I replaced the listing stand the fuge sits on with a straight one and cleaned a bunch of blek out of it. The peppermint shrimp are still in there.

Good morning. My daughter has a track meet at 9:30, but the coach wanted them to be here by 7 a.m. Since it's two hours from our house, I guess I will be spending some time in the car waiting for it to start. Just watching the sunrise right now. I hope everyone has a pleasant day.

eighteen years ago today i got married on a beach in st. lucia.
we didn't plan for it to be on 9/11, but island legalities made it so.

she was my sisters best friend in elementary school and i was in high school with her two older sisters (the 70's).

she was my sister's maid of honor. i had been asked to be the best man but declined.
i was then dating my soon to be second wife, and she had just gotten married and was leaving for iceland her husband was navy. (89)

late 90's my mom sees her at a grocery store and gets her back in touch with my sister. in 97 we were both going through a divorce and my sis asked her if she remembered me  (as if) and would she be interested in a date.
she said no.;Hilarious;Hilarious;Hilarious

a month later she called my sis and told her to make it happen.

January 1997 we had lunch, and then a dinner date and since then we have never been apart.

Happy Anniversary Andrea. my wife, my love, my queen, my everything.

(side note) she's never here, so this just for you all. but she knows.

enjoy your day.

Good Morning Friends!
Very sad day in our nations history indeed!
Seems only fitting that a tree was planted and a plaque placed in memory of my friend Dan this morning. It is on the bank of Luther Lake. We were there before sun up to wait for the unveiling.
