Good Morning!

Good morning! I did get in some tank spying this morning. I found a peppermint shrimp that I didn't know I still had....I also heard that soft clicking again. I didn't find who turned over about a fourth of my sand bed Saturday night. I'll figure it out one day. I found a few sleeping fish....my jerk three-stripe damsel, and also saw the green hiney of my six-line wrasse sticking out of a hole. ;Hilarious Have a great day!

Good morning everyone.

Good Morning!
there comes a time when the most satisfying work conversation ends with you saying to your boss, "Thank you for your efforts, but I have decided to go a different direction." good fortune to all who say it.

as i sit here replaying my moment, my internal screen writer suggests " ,,, Your efforts have inspired me to go in a new direction."

I decided to write a book about all the things I’m going to do with my life.
I’ll call it my oughtobiography.

Good Morning. Saturday I sold one of my pieces at an art gallery here on the North Fork on Long Island New York.

This is not the piece that sold but that is my wife and Daughter.

Roasting a whole chicken. This place needs some real food. The cook has been gone to long.
I can cook better than anywhere you can get food here with half my brain tied behind my back.

Happy Monday! It's been a while since I've had a piece of equipment go haywire, so why not today?! For some reason my ATO decided to go nuts. I caught it in the act tho, ATO pump going furious dumping all of the 4.5 gallons of fresh water in to the sump, and the skimmer overflowing all at the same time..

I drained out the excess best I could and will test salinity in a hour. Total system volume is about 65ish gallons, so I don't think it'll move the needle too far. I'd definitely call this an ATO fail since it's supposed to know how long it should run before cutting the pump off. I know my skimmer cup was at least half full before the event, so even if it went nuts, that's maybe at most 3-4 cups of water volume to replace . No reason for the ATO to dump 4.5 gallons in one shot. Guess its time to add the redundant redundancy checks ;Woot How many freakin sensors do we need? Skimmer level sensor, ATO reservoir sensor, 2 x temp sensors, return pump chamber sensor, sensor for the sensors sensor, whee!! This makes me want to go with float valves or something low tech. Bad idea?

My ATO reservoir is a 23 gallon trashcan. If it dumps the whole thing in it wouldn't matter. The Hydros has been 100% so for though.
