Good morning. Got some more fish arriving this morning!

I missed the cut off date for 3rd Covid shot by a couple of years. Oh well. Next round I guess. I should look into getting the shingles vaccination too. My daughter just asked 2 days ago if she was vaccinated for chicken pox as she is going to friends house and the mother is currently suffering from shingles.

Good morning
Waiting on the gen guys again. They were extremely optimistic about how long it would take. The subpanel for the breaker box is in. I have spare circuits again. More power to the fish.

All the grandkids started day care. They all got sick and gave it to mommy and daddy. No covid though.

Lots to do here on “the ranch” with the fall weather coming. Before you know it, we will be dropping down to freezing at night so I’ve been winterizing equipment, getting the plow ready in case we get enough snow to make the steep driveway impassable, etc. Seems early but I hate to wait till the last minute. Leaves are already dropping and for some reason, we’ve had a population explosion of stink bugs this year. They are everywhere and they get in the house. Totally harmless but DONT smash them indoors. Nasty Nasty Nasty.
Hope Y’all are enjoying the cooler weather. I know I am!

Good morning! No work today, thank goodness. Added more pods in the BioCube yesterday for the possum wrasse. Toddler pirate had his magnifying glass (actually mine) intensely watching the little "buggies" swim down to the rocks. I cut the pump and PH without him in the room....he loves switches and would be switching everything off-on-off-on. Those are hidden out of sight for a reason!

A trip to Costco may be in my future today. Husband is enjoying retirement and is now chasing that little white ball around with a stick during the week. At least it gets him out of the house for at least four hours!

Good morning and happy Friday! My fish finally arrived at 4:55 yesterday. All alive and doing well. A trio of Flame Angels and a hippo tang. Doggie client leaves today and no one else coming for 9 days. (I love the dog sitting gig but sometimes it gets to be too much, especially when client adds a second dog to their family.) That’ll give me free time to work on my tanks and maybe get some outside work done.

Morning All!
Got a little more winterizing done this morning. Took down most of the bird feeders and hummingbird feeders. Gave them a good washing and packed them away for the winter. Left out 2 seed feeders. One for the Cardinals who stay here all winter and one for the finches who are still around. I also left 2 hummingbird feeders for the ones who are traveling through on their way to their Winter retreats.
Disconnected and drained the outdoor shower by the spa and disconnected and drained the 2 misting systems, one for “the girls” and one in the greenhouse.
Tomorrow looks like equipment maintenance day. Push mower, brush hog, weed whackers and leaf blowers. The plow is all tuned and ready to go. Once Lowe’s brings out the rock salt, I’ll stock up. Our driveway is super steep and windy. If you happen to slide off the edge, it can be a “white knuckle” ride all the way down into the creek. Needless to say, I salt heavily!
Angela gets home tonite so now I need to spend the rest of the day getting this Monday through Friday “bachelor pad” back in order.

I ordered something on eBay, I was notified it was shipped the 20th.
It is apparently sitting in a post office in Colorado indefinitely.
I don't even know what this means.

3 orders from Chewy.com. 2 had to be canceled because they never shipped, they have no idea why. The 3rd is an auto ship food order subscription.

So my auto ship dog food order wont have dog food in it.

I order 2 drill bits from Home depot. 2 phone calls and an email are required to get them finally after 25 days. I formally request a credit after the cancelation date for the order. Then I get them.
Fedex says they are delivered. I look everywhere and don't see them. I head to the grocery and the mailbox is hanging open so I go to close it. There is the package.

We haven't heard from the generator guys at all in 2 days. They haven't been paid either. It works, but all the fancy bits like WIFI connectivity and maintenance logs aren't configured yet. (yes I touched it and looked through the menus, I couldn't help myself).

Jill got a flu shot to keep from getting sick but it made her sick so she is in bed.

Screw it I am hiding in the basement and being quiet. Pretty sure the brain eating zombies are about to appear.
