Good news!
Toby is alive and well and eating like a little piglet!
Maybe he was just having “one of those days” yesterday. Perhaps he was sulking because there was no feeding Saturday (pm) and Sunday (am).
Either way, it’s good to see he is still with us.

Good morning and Happy National Farmers Day!

Yesterday evening I had the chance to attend a talk by Craig Watson who is the Director and Research Coordinator at the University of Florida's Tropical Aquaculture Lab on the topic of fish reproduction. This is the lab that bred the Blue Tangs and many, many more fish so it was a pleasure to reconnect with him and hear him speak.

Good Morning! i spent yesterday searching oak tree bases for mushrooms, up and down hills, wading thru briars. so much nostalgia like most hunting days didn't get enough to feed a family but enjoyed it anyway and i didn't have to lug a shotgun. the turtle was passed over and this shroom is called a coral i put the coral on the log for contrast
the turtle put herself there.

Got a robot call Jill's CC was hacked. She called the CC company and what turned into a macabre circus ensued over the course of several phone calls. They sent her to a website that does a biometric scan and other things using the phone camera. 2 old goobers first thing in the morning with an old phone. It failed. They still had our land line phone number which offers no security features like text notification. Each call back resulted in a person following the same script to the same end.
They thought she was the scammer, locked her account and told her she would receive a letter in the mail.

They would not tell us what originated the crisis either. You must wait until you get the letter. It contains a code just like they would normally text to you instantly. Please go away, Thanks. $1000s of dollars of identity theft charges danced through our minds. Wait 7-10 days.

My morning looked like this.

One more call worked. The robot call director must have been intimidated by the ripples in the universe caused by Jill's seething anger. It connected her to a person without the script and she got it all fixed up.

The whole thing was set off because our Books A Million rewards account tried to renew and they still have our old address so the charge was declined for an address mismatch.
There was no fraud at all.

Off to treat my radiation burns.

Stuart likes to be up on top of our kitchen cabinets which are painted. He was scratching them all up trying to get traction so I covered the side of the one he climbs/jumps up on with self stick carpeted tiles. People ask, why would you do that to your cabinet? Because it’s HIS home also!

Good morning! Seems to be lots of animal action going on around here...acrobatic cats, snakes, turtles. I'll have to see if I can get my fish to do any tricks! They mostly just stare at me and follow me around looking for food.

Boss has been off this week, so that's been nice. I've been laying low, staying under the radar.

Here you go Mike. The inside was original gauges, etc. I told my wife on the way there that you imagine an old guy in an antique aviator's cap and scarf being your pilot, but they would probably be a 25 year old. He was actually about 80 and still wore his old cloth aviator's cap (not for show, he just uses it). No scarf though.

Good morning everybody! Yep, you know what day it is...
