I got ditched with the dogs again. On Monday 3 more are coming. 11 total.
Jeanna is coming in for the week so it wont be to bad.

Jill is taking food to her parents for Thanksgiving. Her Mom and Dad live at home still alone. Her mother has advanced Alzheimer's. It has gotten to the really hard part where she doesn't know who her husband of 56 years is.
We do what we can. Which happens to be way more than her older brother that lives in the same town with them.


It is never lonely here.
In fact the opposite. It can be a bit claustrophobic. They all want to be within 2 feet of me and every time I move they are sure something exciting is going to happen.

Because I am an exciting guy.

Zoe takes care of me.

And finally.

I found out I am going to be a grandfather. We are very excited. It's supposed to be a secret. So don't tell anyone.

I guess I will have to get another food bowl to put down.

Yikes! I had a few trips to the neurologist earlier in the year. Apparently, I am ok though. Not fun getting wired up like that.

That is one cute puppy! We have to referee as well but it's fun to watch. Our two labordoodles are at it non stop (mother and pup) and when they start running in the house playing it sounds like a cattle stamped. Our vacuum should last a long time, they don't shed.

To actually tell me exactly what I have would require putting sections of my brain under a microscope. You have to be dead for that.

There are some things you learn to live with because they cant be fixed. You do the best you can do with what you have to work with.

Understood. Life has been a little different since my ICD implant, but overall I've been very good.

We have a family member that is going into surgery soon. He's 4 and has been having seizures for six months now. Grands and mini's several times a day. Meds do little to help. They are going in his brain to try to stop or minimize them. He's a sweet little boy. So heartbreaking.
