Good Morning!

Where do football players go when they need a new uniform?
New Jersey

At this point I am just poking at you in a friendly way! You probably have been to both events (or at least have enough info to decide) and you can decide what suits you, but FWIW Aquashella is a two-day entertainment event, whereas the FL Frag Swap is a closer to you, has corals that you can actually see (the coral sales area at Aquashella was really dark), and the raffle at the Frag Swap was significantly better than Aquashella (comparable to RAP events). Seriously though, if you do come to either event please reach out to me - I would enjoy connecting with you!
Yeah, it's mostly the drive time & stuff like that. Still up in the air for that one, if I make it I'll definitely stop by and say hey. How was the event yesterday?

It was a really good event! I added a few details here:
It was a "true" reefing event along the lines of Reef-a-Palooza. I really enjoyed reconnecting with the community in person since the last show I was at was RAP Chicago in October so I felt really overdue for a live show. I certainly understand the demands of life so if you don't make it I understand. If you do decide to go, please send me a PM and we can touch base at the show.

Good morning , thoughts ,prayers, vibes ,sent and send to all needed today,
whether you know them or not.

it's 20 degrees here and only going up from here... ;Woot
enjoy your day all...:)

@Paul B, I might need to borrow some lavender... Ask your hospital if they ship out of state...
ReefGrammie, besides wineries here on Long Island I am surrounded by Lavender farms so I will see what I can do. :)

Good Morning Reefies
it's no degrees here.

went from sixty hours the last few weeks to forty.

awaiting the two hour meaningless monday meeting.
happy monday.

A gal goes to the local restaurant, buys a small drink for herself, and sits down to drink it. She notices a peel-off prize sticker on the side of her cup while she is drinking. After pulling off the tab, she begins screaming, “I won a motorhome! I won a motorhome!” The waitress runs over and argues, “That’s impossible. The biggest prize given away was a stereo system!” The woman replies, “No! I won a motorhome!” By this time, the manager makes his way over to the table. He too argues, “You couldn’t possibly have won a motorhome because we didn’t have that as one of our prizes.” Again the gal says, “There is no mistake! I won a motorhome!” She hands the prize ticket to the manager and he reads, “WIN A BAGEL.”

Good morning
Another exciting week of nothing much in particular begins. We are going to Duck NC in July with kids and grandkids except Jeanna in July. Jeanna will be in a vet rotation at Cheat Lake vet center then. They have a raptor rescue there as well as a vet practice.
Maybe bring home some plywood for the little tank to work on that.

@Paul B in case I don't get another chance today, I hope your surgery goes well tomorrow. I guess you must know what to expect by now. Isn't this something like your 30th surgery? They should give you some kind of plaque. Don't forget that you're phone has Talk to Text for posting!

Usually at his age he has plaques somewhere he shouldn't and they are taking them out.

Good afternoon! Been a bit hectic around here. Latest adventure - some mice decided they like the taste of the wires in my wife's new (less than 4k miles now) vehicle.. $547 later with the dealership and another 2 bills at the hardware store for weapons of rodent destruction.. Apparently the little jerks were taking nuts from the trees in the front yard and bringing them in to the cozy garage. We get our car back today and I'm a bit nervous as none of my traps of varying types have caught a single critter.. Anyone have suggestions? I've since cleaned out all the boxes in the garage to reduce hiding spots since I did find evidence in a few boots indicating they became mice/chipmunk(?) apartments..

On aquarium news - I'm not sold on the filter cup option so far. Firstly they required some "washers" to sit right in the sock holders in the sump, second they're a pita to get in/out for floss changes, and lastly the floss gets cogged within 24 hours. My tank is not the cleanest at the moment, so I'm holding off on my judgement on the floss lifespan.. It seems like it might be a decent enough option if I can make the floss swap easier, but there's no way I'd use em if I was gonna be gone for vacation/work for more than 3-4 days. Anyone else have experience with those? (4" filter cups from BRS plus a trigger systems 36 sump).
