Good Morning!

I just came back from my beach walk and the sea is angry. Waves crashing all over the place, sea turtles tumbling ashore, walruses rolling into the rocks, oil tankers sinking and.....

OK, none of those things happened, but thats what I was thinking about when I was "Braving" the wind all the way down to the water.

(But it was angry)

Good morning friends...Getting myself crank up to work on my new in-wall tank and fish room but with the kids is hard to work. Just planned to install the tiles on the floor and look for a good cheap wall cabinet or make myself one. Happy weekend to all.

Hey please keep us posted on the progress, do you have a thread?

Good Morning All! First sub 40 morning in Indy. First time the heater went on. Will go to my first local MAS meeting.

Let us know your perspectives of the meeting. Have you been to other similar meetings with other clubs? It is always interesting to me to hear how people see and think new fish experiences. I made a point this year to seek out people who went to Reef-A-Palooza, MACNA, and other events for the first time and it helped me to see things with "new" eyes that sometimes I don't even see, notice, or think about anymore (or maybe never did)!

As a complete newbie to this hobby everything I do is done bright eyed and bushy tailed. So everything I encounter and give me new information to digest is valued. However it can although be overwhelming. Just couple of weeks ago I went to Aquashella and while educational to me, the array of coral vendors and selection was overwhelming in the sense that I walked out and thought how do I ever decide what I will put in my new tank..... will let you know what I think about todays meeting

Thanks. Yes I do have a thread for the upgrade but I had some problems in the house that I have to take care first and put my project on the standby mode.

Happy Saturday! Laundry is started and water change done on FW tank. Bought some plastic totes with the ambitious notion that I’m going to sort through basement boxes and get things weeded out and put into clear totes. Trying to simplify things around here.

I've come to the realization that it can be complicated to simplify things and simple to complicate things so I'm always wary of somebody that tells me "It's simple".
