This guy was POd he/she couldn't reach the feeder.
Came back a couple years later and ripped it down. This feeder was over 8 feet off the ground. I could not touch it standing under reaching and I'm 6'2". He stood up and could no problem. It was just over his head. I watched him do it and was astonished. Was about 2 in the morning and I tried to get a pic. This is the best I could do while he sat there and filled up.

We do not get bears, but we do get turkeys, deer, fox and coyotes. Not bad for 30 minutes north of Manhattan.

BTW, I accomplished my challenge to myself. No hands in the tank for a week. I used the tongs once for a toppled coral.
Last week I started to see some small spots of algae (still a new tank, mind you). It was expected, but I was feeling a bit down. My decision to do nothing and see if the tank could handle it was spot on. Tank looks better and the algae is not increasing. What is increasing? Coralline algae!
