Good morning! Saw a cool thing in my backyard this morning when taking my dog out. A hawk swooped down and got a bunny. Then my dog saw it and started barking at it. The hawk tried twice to fly away with the bunny but the bunny was too big and the hawk had to drop the bunny before flying off. I watched from distance and the hawk did come back to eat this breakfast. Pretty cool to see.

had a volunteer sunflower growing in my yard from birdseed probably hidden by chipmunk. something broke the stem, probably a bird landing on the flower that weighed too much, probably from eating sunflower seeds in my yard. pretty while it lasted, now compost.

Good morning! Had a great weekend Lots of tank maintenance on Saturday - WC, manual algae removal, and shuffled things in my nano. Sunday I decided it was time to finally setup the Phosban reactor and get things under control in the 60 cube. I thought maybe my old RO only water was the source of my PO4 woes, but no that would be too easy of a fix..

pre-AC every night was windows open. i miss the tree frogs and katydids, this week i have opened a bedroom window and enjoyed a small version of summer night music. this morning yall must have disturbed my sleep cause i was awake 3:30 to 5, closed the window, came down, drank a couple cups of coffee, decided i should go back upstairs and slept til 10. now officially up. Good mornings! happy summer Friday!
