Good morning

I woke up at 4 and was looking at the tanks with a flashlight. The big tank is sterile and dead. Nothing moving but hermits and snails I added. I did find a tiny aiptasia living inside a shell where the filefish cant get him and 1 small hairy crab. The long spine urchin was munching on a coral. The 75 gallon looks normal with pods and worms and things waving around. I guess the fish in the big tank eat everything they can find until nothing is left.

Good morning! Another beautiful day, and a perfect Memorial Day weekend...46 degrees this morning?! I can't EVER remember a cool Memorial Day weekend in the south. Perfect weather for some baby back ribs on the grill!

We spent the entire day outside yesterday, watching the birds and staring into space. The heron was doing a little fishing in the pond. Husband cut the grass and then decided it was chip worthy, so I had little white balls scattered all over the yard. The Nashville kids came home from the hospital with their new bundle of joy. The sick pup even had a good day.

I added a small Clarkii clown yesterday (needed a male to complete a pair). I also emptied and cleaned the (highly under utilized) 150g tank to prep it to go to a better home - new owner should pick it up this week.

My daughter and I are going to checkout a marina by my parents house and see if we can’t get a slip for the old mans boat. He has gotten too old to put it in and out by himself so I offered to get him a slip. Hopefully we find some availability.

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Memorial Day!
Beautiful day here in Middle Tennessee. Not a cloud in the sky and mid 70’s later.
We never made it to Dans vigil last night so we’re going to lay some flowers and, if needed, I’ll detail his plaque for him today. I get really emotional about this stuff. He was a very dear friend even though we had only known each other a few years.
Might hit the LFS today. I need water and frozen food.
