Good morning
We went to see Jeanna in Blacksburg Va. Friday/Yesterday it was 40, snowing with a 40 mph wind. That was the coldest I have been in a long time. Jill participated in a ceremony where the vet students were given white lab coats with the school emblem and their names on them. She placed it on Jeanna while Kadin and I cheered. It was supposed to happen last year but it somehow seemed more fitting with 2nd year students that have stuck it out.

I think I will make some coffee and continue screwing the light holders to the wall.

It's a little cold and windy here this morning but I still walked. Now I have to get in my elevator shaft because the thing is making a big bang when it comes down. These things never break in nice weather.

(we have a small, handicap elevator mostly for my wife)

Good morning! What a crazy weekend! My new firefish has been traumatized for life. Poor little thing dove into the rock every time the 2-year-old appeared, who was either banging on the glass, yelling, or shining a flashlight into the tank. I finally captured all of the flashlights and covered the tanks. They all just left to play on our local son's playset.

Husband is sitting in the den staring into space. We had a great time, but now I completely understand how my parents must have felt when we came to visit! We did take the three little ones to the zoo yesterday. It was pretty cold and the wind was ridiculous, but they all had a good time and took long naps yesterday afternoon. The highlight was the zoo train, not the animals.

Good morning. Need to do a water change today. Then back to looking at cabin rental in the Smokie Mountains, North Carolina side,for my June vacation with my grandkids and daughter-in-law. Found one really nice one on a lake, but think I will pass at $1600 a night! I will keep looking.
