Good morning everyone! I know some of you think that Florida doesn't have seasons. Well we may not have four seasons like some of you, but we do have two seasons (unless you count strawberry growing seasons and then we have three each year). On June 1st we transitioned from one season to the next - it is now hurricane season! It's time to get ready to tie down the lawn chairs!!!

So sorry for your loss.Bear passed away Saturday night at home. It's like a tornado came through and tore off the left ventricle of our hearts. Everything here feels broken and pointless right now. Time will fix this but not enough has passed yet.
There is only one dogasaurus left here.

I am emailing GSD breeders. We have never bought a dog the official way so this is all new to us. They all just ended up with us because they needed homes and there we were. Even Bear.

Good morning! Just a few hours of work, then I'm off until Monday. I need to make a trip to the LFS. I'm scraping the bottom of the alk container and need more frozen food. Hair also needs a new paint job...but that won't happen at the LFS.

We have 5 seasons here on eastern Long Island. We have the normal 4, then we have "Tourist Season" when all the Floridians come here to get away from hurricanes.
Unfortunately we also have our Hurricanes. This isn't one of them, just a storm that I decided to go collect water in. Looking at this video caused me to lose 30 lbs.
People come here to bar be cue in our yards.
And enjoy a little fishing from a cozy pier.
This week it was 91 degrees, not it is in the 60s.

It's baby squirrel season here. One was on the bird feeder stuffing it's face and Earnest poked it with his cane.
It jumped in a bush about 4 feet away and was sitting there going what was that.

Nothing new on my morning beach walk except it looks like someone was doing devil worshiping or trying unsuccessfully to build a raft.
They also must have thought the winds at the beach here would move this 10,000 lb rock so they propped it up.

Why do dogs insist on running from the wood floor to the carpet every time they need to throw up? That's how it always is. See the dog running for the carpet and get ready for them to barf. The expensive oriental rug is always their preferred target. Why?
