Good Morning!

Holy cow, I have been gone for so long. We had a major health scare and other misc bad stuff going on that has kept me busy for a while. I haven't been in the mood to do much socializing. The good news is that everything is totally fine now and all the bad stuff has passed, so I am having a great day and we are all cooking Thanksgiving dinner together. I hope everyone has been doing well and having a great day!

Good morning! Soooo, I ordered some supplies from BRS this week. I was supposed to have a 2-litter container of liquid calcium. I picked up the box and umm, something is missing. Sure enough, no calcium. Shipping label says it was included. Website says it was included. I looked for a 2nd tracking number, and nope.

I emailed customer service and will see how this turns out! Oh, and the UPS tracking said the box weighed 7.7 pounds. I don't think so. I'm sure somebody opened a perfectly sealed box and stole 2 liters of liquid calcium.

Good morning
The things I need aren't found in stores.

Every time I have had issues they have come through 100%.
Good Morning.
it's balmy again.
hopefully the ice melted overnight so I can go play.
I must live in opposite land from you. It's cold and wet here.

Jill just got back from the emergency room. Her dad fell and bopped his head. Lots of blood but he is okay. MRI was fine.
She went back to bed. I am watching the monsters.

Good morning
Slept in the bed for the first time since the surgery. Chewy, Dyson, Lucky and Jeanna go home today. Back to the grind.
Which in my case mostly means time to make some coffee.

Good morning! The hurricane is heading back to Nashville. The 3-year-old grandson is no problem, but the 18-month-old granddaughter????? Forget hurricane, that baby girl is a tornado. I've never seen anything like it! Time to put the handles on my tank cabinet and figure out how to lock it. :grimacing-face: The doors are too far apart for a regular lock...I might have to do a bicycle lock or something like that. Dog is passed out in the kitchen and will probably sleep for a solid week.

Have a great day! :)

Good morning! I also learned a valuable lesson from the toddler tornado. I usually mix several varieties of frozen cubes and feed over several days. I also have flake food, which I use occasionally and also use when needed in my auto feeder. Well, I just happened to be feeding the thawed frozen food during the holidays. The 3-year-old always wants to watch me feed the fish (and asks if they can eat about 20 times per day), but he's perfectly content to sit in my chair in front of the tanks and watch.

The toddler tornado wanted to FEED the fish. She kept pointing at my tongs/food and grunting. No way any small child is feeding the frozen food. She'd probably try to eat it! Anyway, Grammie did the most horrible thing and nicely told her no. My kids didn't throw temper tantrums. They got mad, but never threw a spread-eagle, face-down, screaming and crying, beating on the floor tantrum. This one did.

Grammie immediately switched to flake food, where each child got to hold a tiny pinch of flake food and drop it in the tanks. All was well. Bad Grammie. :grimacing-face: Lesson learned. Flake food only when the kids are in town!

Have a great day! :)
