Good morning. We’re ready for the winter storm! Went to grocery store yesterday and it was a nightmare. Empty shelves and long lines at the checkouts. You’d think it was gonna snow for days instead of an overnight snowstorm.

A couple were Christmas shopping. The shopping center was packed and as the wife walked through one of the malls she was surprised when she looked around to find that her husband was nowhere to be seen. She was quite upset because they had a lot to do. She became so worried that she called him on her cell phone to ask him where he was. In a quiet voice he said, “Do you remember the jewelers we went into about five years ago where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we couldn’t afford, and I told you that I would get it for you one day?” The wife choked up and started to cry and said, “Yes, I do remember that shop.” He replied, “Well, I’m in the bar next door.”

Good morning. It's going to be a long night. The fun begins around midnight here, when the temp drops about 30 degrees in an hour with lots of wind. Hoping we don't have to use the generators! I hope you all fare well with this crazy storm.

Were at 8 degrees and getting 8-11 inches of snow. Guess by Saturday instead of singing " i'll be home for Xmas" . . . willl be . . . " I'll be Sore for xmas" from shoveling

Update- We got away with it. Our snow totals only about 3" BUT will now be 30 deg Below wind chill and 50mph winds
 
It's too cold for snow here! I haven't had to shovel snow in weeks.

That sounds like nice weather. Only another three months before we get there here. :)
 
Good morning. -9 with -35 windchill wind gusts of 48 mph. About 2” of snow. My daughter was supposed to be at work at 7 this morning but I told her there is a no travel advisory so she isn’t going.

Good morning all ,suns shining ,balmy -4 ,but only about an inch of snow here.
guess the plows aren't even doing the side streets...:rolleyes:

Our temps are still somewhere south of there (sadly normal -- not a storm). I commented, when I walked into work this morning, that there was a "fresh" breeze outside. It was not well received. :)
