i am not taking the oxy any more as the tequila alone seems to do the trick. no more capitals because the left arm doesn't move yet unless i add vodka to the tequila. i was up at 1;28 this morning because sleeping with this steel sling on is like sleeping with a cement mixer strapped around my neck....and it's running. but after all these surgeries i am used to it.

they don't even close the incisions any more. they use velcro so it's easier the next time.

Good morning. I guess I got out of the habit of posting. I just got my "run for your lives!" text message from the county about the hurricane coming to Florida. Nothing imminent for us, but I guess the county figures they should encourage panic anyway. It says "urgently complete efforts to protect your life" but the schools are still open tomorrow.

Ok, it almost 8pm and they finally closed school for tomorrow. Now it's officially time to panic. Just finished a steak and heading to the local brewery to panic with my wife and a couple of friends.

Today was my first long morning walk after my new shoulder surgery. It was overcast so no sunrise.

Now they say it's going to be up to 75 mph winds and 6-9 ft storm surge in our area. So basically a cat 1 hurricane for us. That shouldn't be a problem. That's more like a bad thunderstorm and I live on a Florida mountain (30 ft.), so no storm surge concerns.
