Good Morning!

It's all a little scary, I've had the same job for 16 years. I just like the direction my career would take with this company vs the current one.
I hear ya, I worked for a company for 6 years, and made the switch to my current job. Scary stuff, you just never know how its going to work out. But I'm glad I did, and I hope it works out for you. Gotta do what's best for you and your family :)

Good Morning everyone! Feeling slightly better this morning, but my head is pretty much still in a fog. Can't breathe and can't hear anything...i'm all plugged up.

Colds stink, hope you feel better soon.. I prescribe standing over your tank and inhaling liberal amounts of salt air ;)

Hope Ya feel better soon. I got my allowance last night , so not sure if this entails a trip to the lfs today .

Good morning.

Things that stick in your head.

Hey @mta_morrow how about this?

That looks tasty. I am partial to bacon gravy myself and usually make it. I also make buttermilk biscuits.

I won't give a biscuit recipe as you can make your favorite for that, even store bought will work, but you do you :)

Sausage gravy

1 lb pork sausage
6 TBSP ap flour
3 cups whole milk
S & P to taste
Cook sausage med-high until completely cooked
Lower to med and add flour, mixing into sausage. Stir and cook 3-5 min until flour is absorbed into fat
Last, add milk slowly, stirring continuously. Bring to boil and watch as it thickens. If it gets too thick, thin out by adding a little more milk.

It comes together fast and will thicken even after the heat is off so stop it early.

EDIT... I can honestly say I have never had bacon gravy

Bacon gravy is the same recipe and method with bacon cooked crisp. I usually am not making a large amount so I drain all but 2 tablespoons or so of the fat
I don't add any salt because it is usually salty enough.
Just pepper, a little sage and basil.

TGIF R2R!! And Good Morning Everyone! Plans for the weekend? I work for the second saturday in a row  and then sunday is tank day. Got lots of maintenance stuff I need to get done. Need to mow the lawn to as its gotten out of control, my street flooding three times in the past two weeks has made my grass grow like crazy!

Try spraying the lawn with Vibrant!

It may knock it back a bit and keep it under control and give you more tank time!

I worked basically every Saturday for my entire career.. I missed a lot of family and friend time :( I Finally mowed my front yard yesterday after almost 2 weeks, it was almost to my knees.. lol my gate had swelled shut and couldn’t get mower over my 6 foot fenced back yard.. that’s my story and I’m sticking with it ;)
My t5 fixture is coming in today so I’m working on a template to help me make accurate holes in ceiling for hanging cables, quick run to LFS for bulbs and hopefully I’ll be basking in the glow of blue+ tonight :D
