I was out there in the 1st week of May to chase storms (my true passion)

Landed in Omaha 730am on Tuesday, did 1400 miles down to OKC and back before flying back Thursday morning. The conditions were too good to pass up. I believe there was 70ish touchdowns within 100 miles of me throughout the trip as I chased the target areas S.W. to N.E. across the 3 days. Awesome trip. Have a friend in Hutchinson who joined me on day 2 with a nice DSLR. Will definitely be back next Spring.

Nice, I have watched them from my front porch, but I have never chased them. I wouldn't know what to do if I caught one.

Actually allot of people do that. A few years ago I told my wife we hold get into that, but she gave me the look. ;Nailbiting

Funny, if by some slim chance a Males look did instill fear I believe at a very young age they are trained to trump your look.

I do miss that KS weather! Every time family asks me about hurricanes, I remind them how many tornados can happen in a night vs a week of knowing.

True, we thought the weeks notice was cool when we moved out there. It was funny though, if the called for a hurricane or chance of snow there a mouse would have a hard time finding a bread crumb or a drop of milk in the stores. I never seen anything like it.

There is no rush like the one that you get from the power of the natural world...
and in that moment you realize man kind cannot recreate these sorts of things, and thus, your position as the "smart ant on the rock" is unveiled.

Wisconsin is weird. It's the only state where you can experience all four seasons in one week lol. Example. High of 68 today, tomorrow its suppose to be 85

Most cant handle the danger/excitement of chasing tornados, But my reaction is more like this:
