Good morning! Late last night I had to put down one of our cats. He had a terrible infection and antibiotics didn't work (4 rounds, 1 of which was intravenous). He could no longer move around without yelling in pain.

So I'm going to grieve the loss of him today..but I also have to go into work at 2, which sucks. Maybe do a water change, it depends.

Sorry for your loss difficult thing to do.

The intent is to give him a playmate and eventually have pups. Definitely not a money making move, but they go for $800-$1000 dollars around here. Most boxer females have 10 and up in a litter.

He needs a playmate though. My neighbors moved and they had three dogs that he loved playing with. Every time I take him out to go potty he goes to the fence looking for them still. Most boxers do well in pairs. Well see.

Tough part I've already seen is the human owners of the pups are VERY interested in them going to good homes. Went through that when we got Milo. They had a question list we had to fill out and send to them. When we picked up Milo, the lady selling him cried when we left. Her husband said she's done that with every pup sold. Had me tearing up watching her. Wife kept reassuring her he was going to a good home and would be well taken care of and loved.
