Good Morning!

I have tossed around an Apex but I still don't understand what exactly it would buy me. I guess its time to do some detailed reading.

Peace for mind and control.

I first purchased mine to control my heater, shut down my pumps and filters during maintenance and alarms when something is not right. Now I have switches installed to shut down pumps if the water level get low in the sump, heater and skimming so the pumps do not burn up, and also the heater. I run the DOS for a auto water change and the switches also shut down the AWC and mixing pumps when the water is low in the reservoir. Setting, settings are endless. The Conductivity probe has been a head ache of late but instead of getting the probe calibrated I use a refractometer and use the current setting of the conductivity probe to shut down the AWC if the salinity get to high or low. This is just the tip of what one can do with a Apex.

Good morning and happy Turkey hangover all. Today is gyre controllers 101 for me since the lady is pulling a 12hr shift.

6° last night. Burrrrr ;Cold

I was infatuated with all the things you could do for a long while. 2 pumps and all those modes. Then I figured out what I actually wanted them to do. I haven't had to change it in months. I occasionally change the power up or down 10% but that is it.

Looking awesome!

Thanks! Been a fair bit of work but sure beats paying someone else to do it:p I've never made beams before so it's been a fun little project, spring time the fire place is being replaced along with the two windows and the floor when funds allow for it:):)

I've been thinking about doing a series of articles on Drywalling, finishing and painting for those who would like to do in wall builds and so on, still mulling it over with my busy schedule but hopefully soon!
