I admire the hospitality award people. So many new people show up here it is daunting.

This is tempered with the knowledge that there are no longer any pet shops supporting this hobby within a 3 hour drive for me. I hate buying live things by mail. Yes I have done it and so far 100% have made it. Petco is about it here. They carry nothing to support a large tank though.

It bothers me seeing large fish in those tiny tanks. Especially the dead ones. A large CBB.

Thoughts of stocking an 8 foot tank are weighing on me.

Aren't they all the last upgrade? My wife is convinced that this ends with the basement filled with saltwater and fish swimming free range down there.

Then you need to add on a viewing room... oh and then a maintenance fish room...

Yeah, I'm in the same boat with Crystal Dynamic Aquariums, mine is only going to be 60x25x21 so about 137 gallons. Not going to break into the 200's in this house, will do it in the next, in a year or two or three.

Just had my 6 gallon Orbit 20 delivered while I’m out of town. My way to an upgrade after just sinking @$&@thousands into my WaterBox 230 is to get these little projects and say it is for the grandkids. So my next project while I get the 230 up and stocked is to start this cool jelly fish tank.

I mean I didn't get to bring it home or anything. I had had it for 36 years. I was attached to it. I got to watch it make milk and everything. I saved pickle juice for months. I had a big jar.

All for nothing.

It was just gone.

I ran it over my tank now to check some things out and get the T-5s right. 2 460, a 420 and an Aquablue Special is what I ended up with. Then I put the Photon V2 back on the tank and tuned it to look the same.
Everything in the tank likes it. Basically all channels running 65% including the red and green.

Custom Aquariums is about 20 minutes from my house. My uncle ordered his 65 from them. Really cool place, they have a really neat reptile display when you first walk in that has a chameleon in it
