I don’t think so. They can breed independently here in Florida, without incubation, but the babies are easy targets for predators (until their shells firm up). They can’t tolerate below 50 degrees for extended periods.

They’re not native to America- wouldn’t even try releasing them.

It’s very simple to keep them. Just give them some romaine lettuce with the occasional pellet of tortoise-chow (or a bit of shredded chicken).

Had these at my pet store. A little cat playpen with a heat lamp, Lettuce, zucchini, grapes, chicken and drinking water and beautiful as they mature. These and sulcate tortoise are excellent pets !!

2nd time that Bubble magnus has gotten stuck and emptied the bottles (2.5ltr) into tank. Nice collection of bleached SPS
Guess i'll be doing a 50 gal water change and about to order a NEW doser unit , that's after I take a 20oz hammer to this unit.
Alk climbed from 8 to 11.4
Mag climbed from 1320 to 1505
calcium climbed from 430 to 505
hmmmm- salinity from 36.6 to 41.7 ??? (i assume these parameters have an impact)
