I’m waiting for my special spinning frag tank to cycle too . Though i do have some corals in there, they’re just not looking so hot LOL. But "not dead yet" is good enough for me!

Yesterday we visited The Hidden Reef and The Fish Factory. Today we visited Reef to Rift and Aquarium Center. They’re not very close but I am enjoying the road trips, lunch, and learning from talking to people there, seeing the fish labeled in tanks to better acquaint myself with them, and also looking at all the equipment. It’s a whole new world for sure, this saltwater stuff. Proud to say no impulsive purchases at any of them, not even a tank.

Good Morning. We got back from a few days at our Daughters in Vermont, on top of a mountain in the absolute middle of nowhere. After a 1 1/2 hour ferry ride to Connecticut


WE drove for 5 hours where our ears kept popping.
Then we explored her property all over this mountain.

I never saw so many frogs and newts in my life (since the last time I went there.)

On our way home, I saw my next boat.

piddled around in the fish room and fed the fish.

Good morning! Started my staycation with a lovely chest cold, but it didnt stop me from making it to the LFS Saturday.

Picked up a pair of clowns and a camera shy 6-line wrasse. Everyone is getting settled in QT. Also picked up my first corals - fungia, red lobo, torch, hammer, and 4 misc zoas

Thanks @siggy ! They're not a bonded pair, but they seem to be getting along pretty well so far. They were in separate tanks at the store which made me a bit nervous. Kinda took a big chance, but I really wanted both of em The smaller one is a storm and the other is a fancy snowflake. If they start fighting I'll have to move one of em to the 2nd QT I have in the basement until I can sort it out. The six line wrasse is doing good as well, just really shy.
