Sorry for this late reply! Yes, as a mother you never get to retire, BUT, if you get a job down the road you can retire from THAT, just never from motherhood. Although it does get easier, they call you more for recipes and nonsense than asking you to tie their shoes. hee heee! I love my girls, miss them dearly. (grown and gone)
