Good Morning, am I missing something? Shopping around and a lot of reef gear is sold out, I have been looking for a wet-side for my mp40 and I noticed a lot of stuff is out of stock.
I have two backups and when I went to swap out, both are locked up They were cleaned and dried before I put them up. Vinegar syndrome ?

Do you clean them in vinegar?

Most everything is out of stock as far as gear goes. I think between everyone being home, and the stimulus checks, and the fact most places are shut down. Manufacturers can't manufacture, and suppliers don't have any excess stock, in stock.

I think thats the only reason I drink coffee in the AM. Gets everything "moving".

I have found pumps with ceramic bearings are prone to lock up if you use them in saltwater and then let them dry again. My guess is the salt crystallizes in the bearings. Usually soaking in hot water and then putting a little force on them frees them up again.

Good morning/lunch lol. The coral shipment got delayed a day, whamp whamp. Probably for the best tho as I ran a couple tests this morning and found that Ca was low @ 375 Guess I shouldn't have skipped the water change last weekend. Time to make some SW and do a WC tonight.

Thought about it, but sent out the lower unit and I don't have a way to haul it. It is going to our florida home in July. We cleaned it up nicely. You can see lower unit is off. here is cabin:
