Beautiful day here but heavy rain expected tonite. It figures, we were going to go to Franklin TN tonite for dinner out and to see the Christmas light drive through.
Still waiting for my new Zoa colony to fully open so I can get a good picture but the Hermits won’t leave it alone.

back in the day, when I was a PADI instructor, one of the Detroit network weather peeps was a student of mine. he worked his way up to being my assistant instructor. I used to tell him what a great profession he was in. make a six digit salary for being wrong 90% of the time. he didn't argue the point with me.

Good Morning my Friends!
Rained overnight but that has stopped. It’s cold and windy here this morning. BRRRRRR!
I’ve got some indoor chores to get done today, mostly tank stuff. Change ChemiPure, carbon etc.
My super cool probe holder will be here today but that needs modification before I can install it. Might be a little chilly to be working in the barn today for this old man though!

I have a love/hate relationship with my pincushion urchin. Here we are wearing an air stone as a cute little hat, along with a snail shell. I finally learned that Gorilla tape works really well to anchor said air stone in place. I have also been known to rescue upside-down hermit crabs with flailing legs from the urchin!

It's a chilly 20 degrees here today! Not complaining, just stating a fact. I told myself I would not complain about Indiana weather again after a 3 years job assignment in Saskatoon, Sk Canada. -34F was the norm for 3 months of the winter season.

Good Morning! It's a toasty 14 this morning and snowy. Got close to 2 inches last night and the city has already groomed the roads. Very surprising but great job. The best news is that it's my Friday and my The Plank autofeeder should arrive today. Stay safe and healthy!
