Good Morning!

Great morning. I just had to watch the sunrise on the beach this morning during my long walk

Yesterday we left out Daughters house on the Hudson. This is her view

And last night was a great party at the winery.
They had great food and a big band with 10 girls singing. And I love to dance and found plenty of willing partners. :)

Good morning.
Have a great Sunday.
I have a hammering MP60. When they work they are great. I have one that the wetside slides slowly down the inside of the tank.
Thin piece of rubber maybe between the glass and pump?

It's a flow pump

It comes with rubber spacers that are on it.

Good Sunday morning!
Catching up on R2R with Dragonwell loose leaf tea and a Clif bar.
Tank maintenance day!
I may ...no, I will regret this decision. Going to move a rock from fuge with 2 rbtas on it to the display. The McCullochi clowns are settling into an unhappy torch colony and too close to a pearly burrow. Talk about a make work project, hahaha.

Good morning. It’s POURING in the Music City. I sure hope it makes it down a few hours SE. More time with the cute grandkids/family and then we’re headed back home. We went to the Opry Mills Mall (which was extremely crowded)…wanted to take Teddy to the Aquarium Restaurant. We ate there a few years ago and loved the displays, especially the 200,000 center reef tank! Have travels to all on the road today. Have a great Sunday! ;Joyful

Flash flood Friday night. OMG it was loud. I just realized, my reef turned 1 yr old today. My oldest goni is 8 months old. I put this poor thing through hell. It even got hit so hard by my torch and nearly died. Growing back like a champ!
Maybe the husband and emperor will let me have a rbta... :(

Looks fabulous!

Doctor Jones likes to stop at a bar after work and enjoy an almond daiquiri. One day, Dick the bartender runs out of almonds and uses hickory nuts instead. The doctor takes a sip and asks Dick, “Is this an almond daiquiri?”
Dick replies, “No, it’s a hickory daiquiri, Doc.”

thank you thank you thank you!
Good Morning.
I don't use filters between DT and sump. the small tank has mollies its sump has molly babies. and i just found out? lol.
btw i don't have to rearrange my house today because i did not win the 75 inch TV yesterday at a party. i count that as a win for laziness. I hope you are as fortunate!!

Good morning on a rainy Monday.

I ordered a Aquamaxx TS-2 sulfur reactor this morning. OO new toy. I am hoping to lose the biopellet reactor, NoPox dosing and reliance on a finicky refugium that goes through boom and bust cycles. I guessed on the media which is hard to find now. I got sulfur pellets, Seachem Matrix and calcium media.
The magical mystery formula is .006 times your system volume in gallons gives you the media volume in liters.
It stinks that the bigger one wasn't on clearance too.

I wanted to do a calcium reactor but I already invested in dosing 2 part.

Have you noticed than nothing comes with adequate directions now. That makes things so much harder. Some of us actually read them.

I saw the wrasse and then he saw me and went ZOOM and disappeared right under the sand. How do they do that?

I put a molly in and the little guy ate it and swam around with the tail hanging out of his mouth for a while. It went down. Now it's hard to feed the big one. Baby fuzzy is very aggressive when food is in the tank. The other 2 like to look at it for a while. Oops gone.

I had to bring my lizard to the vet. He wouldn’t stop telling jokes and he was really getting on my nerves! The vet looked at him and said, “Oh, this isn’t a lizard. He’s a stand-up chameleon!”

Good Morning Reefies
Enjoying good weather while on vacation.
Carriage/history ride around the island after breakfast.
Bikes, horses and carriage are the only modes of transport on the island. No motor vehicles allowed.
Enjoy your day friends.

Good morning! Back to reality. o_O

I had an exciting find yesterday when we got home. I had acclimated two fish for the BioCube last Thursday, an exquisite firefish and a possum wrasse. The wrasse didn't look too great, but I've had to deal with acclimating sickly-looking wrasses before and they did fine. They just don't ship well. The firefish looked very healthy and was eating right away. The possum wrasse disappeared into the rock. No sightings by the time we left Saturday. I offered a little food twice a day before leaving town to hopefully coax him out with no luck.

We got home late yesterday afternoon and I immediately checked the BioCube. The possum wrasse was out!!! He seems very interested in the buggie things in the tank, picking at the rocks and glass. He ate a little frozen food, but he's still pretty shy and goes quickly into his hidey hole. He's already out this morning. Our son/DIL had also chalked him up as gone. They looked for him all weekend. I'm so glad he's doing ok! Very cute little fish. :)

Have a great day!

Those lions are beautiful!
Good morning everyone. I ordered a BTA for my tanks 1 yr old bday. Wonder how many people will light their pitchforks and sharpen their torches for my lack of experience with keeping them. :(
It's going to probably add to another traumatizing experience.

I put a RFA in a 20 day old tank. That was the 56 gallon that became the 75 gallon that then moved from our old house to here and then became the 240.
I still have it.
