Good Morning!

Those lions are beautiful!
Good morning everyone. I ordered a BTA for my tanks 1 yr old bday. Wonder how many people will light their pitchforks and sharpen their torches for my lack of experience with keeping them. :(
It's going to probably add to another traumatizing experience.
My experience,
BTA’s are fairly easy.
Water, flow, lighting, you’re good if it’s to their liking. They will pick their happy spot not you.

I know, my last one was wild. I have my rocks in ranges up to 350par. There is high flow at mid range to top and lower flow in the center of the aquarium. I just hope he can find a happy spot.
My wild bta tucked itself into a rock and ate all of its tentacles.
This one is tank born. no idea when it will be here.

Flash flood Friday night. OMG it was loud. I just realized, my reef turned 1 yr old today. My oldest goni is 8 months old. I put this poor thing through hell. It even got hit so hard by my torch and nearly died. Growing back like a champ!
Maybe the husband and emperor will let me have a rbta... :(

Morning All!
We had a great time in the Smokies, until my phone started blowing up with tornado warnings “in our area”. ( home). Got me all stressed out but I figured the neighbor would have called me if it was hitting the fan.
Never saw a drop of rain until the ride home. We picked up a few little things at the craft fair on Saturday and had a really nice dinner. Yesterday, we took the tram up the mountain and walked the Sky Bridge.
Our Anniversary is this We’d but Angela has to travel so this was our celebration weekend.
When we got home, all was okay with the critters and no storm damage, just a lot of debris to pick up but more storms are coming later today so it makes no sense to clean up yet.
Pictures are on my phone so I’ll post them now!

Welp, it's Monday.

I trump your tornado warning with a homicide report 10 houses down while I’m outa town and a 21 year old young lady is house sitting for us.:(

Sometimes you can sense the genius behind something you buy.
My new dosing pump has little slots on the back so you can neatly mount it to a wall.
x1_pro2_5__2.jpg

They even give you little screws.
Of course you have to use that hole down there to plug the power in and then you have a power cord sticking straight out the back. It cant possibly be mounted on a wall.
They ship it to you with the dosing head in the box and not installed. Surprise, they don't mention how to put it on anywhere. Don't break it. No no no.

Could anyone explain what this means?
X1 PRO 2 is a single-channel intelligent dosing pump with WIFI remote function, mainly used to add the various elements needed for marine life growth, such as calcium, magnesium, KH booster, trace elements, etc. to marine life cylinder timing, quantitative and accurate.

It sounds very profound and I am deeply concerned now that my tanks cylinder timing is off by quite a bit.
That must be why it backfires every now and then. It shoots water clear across the room.

I am sure this thing is going to straighten my problems right out.

The automation of X1 PRO 2 can greatly reduce the amount of manual added work, but also avoid manual addition caused by leakage, adding excessive or insufficient errors.

The Reef Dose 4 gives great instructions on how to mount it. It also gives a great diagram pointing to this spot on the front while talking about pressing a button to sync it to your wifi. So, the user keeps touching this light and wondering why oh why will it not respond.
Then you go on YouTube and watch the video to discover that the light is well .... just a light. You have to unmount the previously mounted unit and press a sync button on the back of the unit. Yep - you must also be an eight armed octopus to hold it, press the button, work the wifi instructions, stand on your head and spit nickels.
They did make a little slot for the power cord though.... so we'll give them a point for that.
Have a good night @WVNed - better luck tomorrow.

Wow that’s a keeper! Beautiful pup

Good morning
It is installed. I think (HOPE) it is going to start adding 1ml every 30 minutes of PhosBan-L into my skimmer at 8am.
I am starting with 18 ml a day

Powerful stuff.
IMPORTANT: First dilute PhosBan®-L by mixing 100ml of PhosBan®-L with 200ml of reverse osmosis or deionized water (I made 3000ml)
To reduce phosphates from 0.3 ppm to 0.03 ppm in 400 gallons of water:
PhosBan®-L dose: 27.0 ml of diluted solution

I was using this

Tropic Marin® Elimi-Phos Rapid

To reduce phosphates from 0.3 ppm to 0.03 ppm in 400 gallons of water:

Elimi-Phos Rapid dose: 40.9 ml
