Good morning! I just drove by the beach and the weather is great (as long as you're in the car with the a/c on ). I bought some inexpensive ($25) reef lenses for my phone, which generally takes mediocre pictures. They are much better with these! Here are a couple example pictures. Have a great day everyone!

Mornin’ All!
Looks like I missed a day yesterday.
Crazy storms hit right after I went to bed last night. According to the gauge, we got almost 4” of rain and there Is debris everywhere this morning. Lost power for a while. Not too long because the clocks were only 15 minutes off.
Been super busy here with chores. I pressure washed the house and both levels of the back deck, put a new cover on the awning that we park under and OF COURSE picked up all the debris from the last storm. Branches and stuff everywhere again.
Headaches have been better with the Pred but still there. I start with my first dose of injections this morning. I waited for Angela to be home to do it in case I have some kind of reaction.
LFS today for fish food and the reptile store for bugs to feed the opossum.

So my 90 just drove away ... in the hands of a very enthusiastic young reefer and a very apprehensive Dad. It is going to be so cool to watch that tank enjoy it's next life.

My new cabinet must have gotten me all fired up for tank work! Water change on both tanks is done, new filter media added to the BioCube, phyto for both tanks, and incinerated a mushroom that was bothering my acan....what else, what else.....oh, and found an old bottle of phyto in the back of the frig. Of course I had to smell it! It was wicked horrible. ;Vomit

and we are home. It was a good time. The little Subaru made 300 miles at 61mph average getting 30.2mpg.
I am impressed.

Paige got some wheels too.

RC cars for kids the parents drive around. What will they think of next. When she gets bigger the controls work too and she can drive it.

Good morning! My daughter found a starfish in a tidal pool over the weekend. I was very tempted, but decided that I might regret putting it in the the tank.

We stopped at Treasure Potts in Fancy Gap Va on Rt 52 where it crosses the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is also a nice antique shop and a deli.
