I'm a little late to good morning.....if I drove about 30 minutes west, it would still be morning! After my work torture Mon-Thurs, I usually have a million things to do by Friday morning.

I'm glad to report that my firework cloves are back open, after being slammed shut for about a week. I have no idea why....parameters are running about like normal. Oh well, at least they're back open and seem happy.

so this mornings web ex meeting was fun.
just start my presentation and the screen starts strobe lighting.
told all i would be right back.
kill the laptop, reboot, rejoin the meeting, restart my presentation and BOOM!
does it again. said my goodbyes.
call IT. wait wait wait wait still waiting....
ok upgrade all your drives.
transfer all your data off the hard drive first. BIG files.
should be done transferring in another half hour.
than update the drivers. then if that doesn't work miss out on ten OT tomorrow and drive 100 miles round trip monday to swap out laptops.

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a good day. I have been stuck at home with the torn cartilage in my knee for weeks. The bedroom, kitchen and in front of the tank are the 3 places that make up life right now. The doctor just called and my surgery has been postponed indefinitely. Only emergency procedures for the next month at least. Thank you Covid. I'm not very happy with the Governor right now - he says there is no serious covid problem in our great state. Oh well, stay positive, etc.

Ditto on the governor. That is not a political statement. I would hate him no matter what party he affiliated himself with. He's a moron. To think that it was either him or the guy that was charged with corruption before he was found in a puddle of vomit... naked... geeked out on drugs in a Miami hotel room. Such pillars of the community that we had to choose from!!!

I had not considered that this COVID surge would put off necessary surgeries. Dang, my deductible is paid for 2021. If I need to get neck surgery, I am going to be ticked if it rolls into 2022 and I need to cough up another $3500 just because. Hopefully, they will get you back on the calendar. Can they try another facility?

Gee, I was trying to not ruffle any feathers. I feel exactly the same. If he died tomorrow it might would be the best thing that could happen for us all. About the surgery, they said everywhere they used is not doing elective surgery, but I am going to ask again.

Webex meetings are great .....I was recently on one with several hundred people. I felt so bad for the poor guy in California trying to run the meeting. Technical difficulties galore!

Good Morning, Reefies.
Looking like Fred is now disorganized and heading out into the Gulf. From there, it will hit as a depression somewhere in the panhandle. They say that another storm is coming up behind it - Grace. I guess we'll just wait and see.

I'm going to work on moving Moe (Hawk) and Leo (Davinci) out of that EVO and into the IM Nuvo 14 in my office. I have not been able to spend as much time at the computer lately due to the neck but having three tanks in the living room is just too much.

It's looking like the DT is getting a double whammy of diatoms (brown sand) and some cyano (pinkish red in the sand and on top of zoa mountain). I need to formulate a plan there, too. Back to making more salt water....

My daughter just called and said that this weekend she is cat sitting. Next weekend, the same person wants her to babysit a newborn and a toddler all day Saturday. (She has never changed a diaper.) I can't help but wonder ... is cat sitting supposed to be a test to qualify her for the babysitting gig? Like, OH ... the cat didn't die, so let's trust this person with two tiny humans.

Just spent the last hour washing chicken butts and clipping toenails ( not mine, the chickens).
Bright, sunny, humid and getting warm already. We have lots of storm debris again but more “weather” coming this afternoon so clean up right now will be as useless as a fart in a windstorm.
