Good Morning!

Wanna hear a secret?
They’re trading you in for another fish tank!

Gee, I was trying to not ruffle any feathers. I feel exactly the same. If he died tomorrow it might would be the best thing that could happen for us all. About the surgery, they said everywhere they used is not doing elective surgery, but I am going to ask again.
sir, you might want to reconsider your post, we kill animals if they harm our preferred pets but unless you are talking about your personal aquarium i would suggest that you might not have the judgement necessary to support the idea of sentencing anyone you don't approve of on this site.

it's the pain pills talking. (giving him the benefit...)

I should have stuck with the not ruffling any feathers strategy. Having healthy friends die of covid-19 can make a person feel rather passionate about the whole thing.

And on another subject, I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Cats, I'm so jealous. I can't remember the last time I could do that.

Good aftermorning! Coffee time.
Afternoon Tea Coffee GIF by Latch
Afternoon coffee? Oh that sounds like a grand idea. I'm just waiting for salt to mix, so I can finish the move to the office tank. Funny enough, the emerald crab in the EVO was the most ticked off about going into the holding tank. I guess he's just a little crabby.

Good morning
Making a new brain crutch in the garage. A six position dosage counter. For people who cant remember what they did between 5 minutes and 4 hours ago.

I have heard of lots of people dying from Covid. I don't know anyone who has except my mother in law. She had advanced Alzheimer's and once she tested positive she was quarantined in the nursing home. She died 3 months later because family couldn't come in and feed her. She had not been able to feed herself for a year. My father in law did it every day until they wouldn't let him in. I know she died of Covid though because it said so on her death certificate. I read it myself. She weighed 68 pounds on her death.

I had Covid. It wouldn't even rate in the top 10 worse things I have had.

After being around the pharmacy business most of my life I know there are people walking around that have active infections of things a great deal worse than Covid and as long as no one knows it's perfectly fine.

Enough of that.

Stay safe. Whatever that means.

Good Morning!
Went to a local arts festival yesterday and the arts and crafts were amazing. i loved a bunch of it but got away with only buying reusable flannel paper towel substitutes. it goes on today and i think some blown glass and paintings might get stuck to me if i go back.

Leo and Moe are settling in well to the new home in my office. The pump on this IM Nuvo is just amazing compared to the EVO. No supplemental powerhead necessary.
I could not stay in bed anymore, too stiff. I tried to get coffee.... found mosquito larvae in my water container for the Kuerig. NOte to self 0 keep the kid on the ATO container for the DT! That is not a good way to start the morning. Unfortunately, the pump on the Kuerig has also kicked it.... it won't dispense more than 2 ounces of water. Is 6 years the expected life span of a Kuerig? I guess so.
To heck with it.... I'm waking up hubby. I think today is a perfect day to channel our inner @Paul B and go to the beach. The weather is less than 80 degrees and there is a storm in the Gulf. I'm sure there is someplace near the beach that we can get coffee. :)
Have a great day, reefies!

Good morning! Off for a walk before the next week of work terror begins....can you tell I love my job?:D Actually, I would love it if "they" would just leave me alone and let me do my job. No thank you. I don't want to be involved in your "special" projects and work groups and meetings about nonsense. Ok, enough of that...

The rain from the tropical storm is supposed to head this way Mon-Tues, so I better get my walk done today. Monday is usually not a walk day because.....it's Monday.

On a good note, I made my first ever homemade peach cobbler with real peaches! The other humans in the house and the toddler approved. It was served with not-homemade vanilla ice cream. It made me think of my great-aunt from many, many years ago in rural Alabama. They had a farm and everything was homemade. We loved to go up there as kids (we were city folks in Miami at the time) and feed the chickens and cows and run through the corn fields and the other crops. It also helped me realize why people didn't live as long then....making that darned cobbler yesterday was WORK. Bottom line is go to the grocery store, grab Ms. Smiths frozen cobbler, walk a short distance down the same aisle for the ice cream, live longer. ;Joyful

Have a great Sunday!

six years is EXCEPTIONAL, in my personal experience, for a Kuerig.

Pretty sure using power tools before 7 am on a Sunday morning is a definitive indicator you are an old fart.
I am seriously an Old Fart. After my walk at 5:45 this morning I came home and made a loaf of bread. I am waiting 5 hours for it to rise for the pool party this afternoon. :p
