Good morning! As I was finishing my walk yesterday, I rounded the corner and there was the FedEx truck.:D At least he didn't throw the box at me.

I was expecting to see a box of white acros, but the corals look healthy. All I can do now is watch and wait. I normally start light acclimating after about a week, but I may leave them on the bottom a few days longer. The zoas went in the BioCube and opened up immediately.

That's wonderful! I am happy to hear the acros made it. Those guys and be such a pain shipping. Not as bad as torches...
Good morning and happy Labor day weekend!
Last night was the first time my husband had real crab. I couldn't believe it either. He was blown away. No words could describe how happy he was. Imitation crab is pretty yuk. I never really liked it.

Going to the lfs today to see if the anthias he has are still in. I don't like how he treats his corals. Because they just die. Maybe he needs to test his water - get new lights - do a weekly water change - remove aiptasia.

Good morning. Got a new fish store opening up and having grand opening today. It’s on the south side and I’m on the north so not sure if I feel like driving down there today. Don’t need anything right now and can’t put any corals in my tank until I get these Dinos taken care of. They just die. I’ll make my decision after my coffee. Have a good Saturday!
 
Mornin’ All!
Looks like I missed a few days hers. Been feeling a little under the weather the past couple of days. Much better today.
We’re off to the local farmers market this morning ( after the coffee of course) and then major chore day so we can enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend together. I have about 1/2 acre left to mow today then hen house and parrots cage cleaning. water chemistry was a little off on the spa so I did a water change already this morning (200 gallon). Should be up to a comfortable temp by this evening.
I hope Y’all have some fun plans for the long weekend. Supposed to rain here tomorrow so we may take in an afternoon movie.

late start to work this morning.
stayed up late watching college football and the the sparty fan base getting sucked in. ;)
work/live sale today.
rest of the weekend is yard work and install the sump to the frag system.

We have an Easter King Snake that lives under our house and sometimes comes out on the front porch to sunbathe. Its about 4’ long, perfectly harmless and Kings KILL & EAT the dangerous snakes that live in our neck of the woods. We have Cottonmouths and Copperheads here. That’s why we don’t go anywhere near the stream or the creek until Winter. The Kings will also eat any little critters that find their way under the house.
 
I need another sulphur denitrator. There are none anywhere less than $600. So I am going to make one. I ordered 8 more pounds of sulfur this morning.
Looks like it is going to be 4 x 24in. 4.5 liters.
Off to Home Depot again.
