The hen house did fine which was a blessing. I still need to do a major cleaning this week though. We’re heading back to Gatlinburg this coming weekend for the Christmas craft fair so it needs to be done during the week .
As far as the Titans go, I had to turn it off during the 4th quarter. After watching the quarterback get sacked 7 times in the first 3 quarters, it was just too painful to watch anymore.

Good morning
I woke up early and made breakfast for 4. Eggs, bacon, gravy, toast and then I ate it all and went back to sleep.
I have a plan. If I cant walk good maybe I can roll everywhere. You don't know until you try. I haven't figured out uphill yet though.
It's really hard to break unhealthy habits when you know it isn't going to make you healthy anyway if you stop.
I got an Instant Pot to cook with. It should give me some new options.
Jill brought me a cool new device to get my compressions socks on but my right foot wouldn't fit. A long time ago I was running in the yard and missed a concrete step and kicked it hard and exploded my right foot. My family made fun of me because I wouldn't let them reset my dislocated toes and made them take me to the doctor. He didn't know how either. So I have a ducks foot.
You put the sock on a tube and stick your foot in it and pull the sock and tube up. My foot got stuck in it. It worked great on my other foot though.

I just wanted to say thank you to those who have reached out directly to check on me.
Short version, things went sideways with my daughter - which did not leave me feeling very sociable. To pile on, my father passed away out of state. I've been trying to deal with the biological cleanup, probate and trying to get hotel rooms while a Nascar race was in town.
I'll be back in a week or two. Lord only knows what my tank will look like by then.

I am so sorry to hear about your father and I hope things are getting sorted out with your daughter. I can't imagine how tough it must be to deal with both of those things at once.

i watched some football this weekend. usually i limit myself to college but i bled over into pro for Cleveland and TB-NE;
fun!
the maple leaves are colorizing my lawn. wait until they are finished or deal with them in waves? the annual dilemma.

So sorry for your loss. And issues with your daughter. If I lived close you I would go check on your tank and do possible water change if nothing else. Hope things in your life turn around for the better soon. Take care of yourself!
 
Good morning/ afternoon now I guess. Had a bad weekend. All 3 flame angels dead as of this morning. Been on another site with a well known so called disease expert and this was he said

Got fish from a pre quarantined vender and they offer live arrival guarantee only but said he would give me a good price on replacement fish! (Ha, I bet he will :rolleyes:) Think I will cut my losses and buy from someplace else!

The Insta Pot works. It was kind of funny looking at a big lump of sorta tough raw meat and think I am going to feed it to someone in 2 hours. The pot roast was excellent though.

The tarts worked too. I know because she ate 2.

Those things really are amazing. I love the pot roast types of dinners from ours. I just did some hard boiled eggs this afternoon. 5 min cook time.
