Good morning. I usually have an apple every morning as part of my breakfast. Today is no exception…well with one little exception, it’s in the form of apple pie! Gotta love Thanksgiving leftovers :p
No Black Friday shopping for me today. I stay home and a way from that craziness!!
 
Today I learned that you can use disposable masks to brew espresso.
That’s because they’re coughy filters!

Good morning. All I did was window shop. No way I am going out into a nightmare frenzy!
All left overs are gone. Now to figure out what is on the menu for the rest of the weekend and next week.

My little one has learned how to knock things off of the fridge with a broom stick..... He often looks into the sump to see if anyone is in prison and wants a friend. I keep showing him everyone is still in there. I think he is looking for the foxface I had to rehome. She was eating up my zoas.

Organizing a pilgrimage to the local biscuit shop. I am pretty sure we have taken 3 years off the life of the dishwasher the past few days. It demanded to sleep in today.
 
testing went well yesterday. except: i have a DIY overflow in my little system; the screen keeping critters in the upper tank was askew and a molly took a ride down to the sump. I got curious, so decided, while fixing the cross stitch fabric, i pulled it apart to make sure nothing else was en route. Then i had trouble re-establishing the siphon. turns out a small crack was in the tubing. found it after much saltwater tasting and pouring.

This boy (the one staying with us) has to have an appointed chaperone any minute he's awake. He likes to poke the LED screen on the TV, run the water dispenser/icemaker at will (now in lock mode by Grammie), escape into the garage, open the refrigerator and try to get the whipped cream (now hidden), etc. All Mag-Floats have been temporarily removed from the tanks. The fireplace utensils and DVDs have been moved into the closet.

I had great plans for breakfast. Sausage and biscuits. I knew I bought the biscuits on Wednesday. No biscuits to be found. Finally found them wedged between my husband's seat/door, where they had rolled out of the bag. Sent husband to the grocery store 5 minutes away to get a replacement. He returns in an hour. Meanwhile, the toddler ate some sausage and proceed to smear his sausage hands all over the bigger tank. Been a fun morning. They left to visit some friends. Husband told them to take their time. Can you tell we're exhausted?? ;)

We'll be traveling to them for Christmas. It's much easier in "their world." Plus we're staying in a hotel with free cocktail hour! ;Joyful

Good morning! Been a whirlwind morning here again. I had forgotten out exhausting toddlers were! The tanks are still standing. The kids are gone for a while, and Papa is taking them to the park this afternoon while Grammie gets ready for taco night. Always a hit after endless Thanksgiving leftovers. Have a great day!

Good morning.
We are exhausted. The kids went home last evening and the old people went to bed early. Next we need to Get Jill's dad home which will be a 6 hour round trip. Everything went pretty well and nothing important got broken.
Kinda bummed that my smallest lionfish died. I fed them and when he didn't appear I knew. Once again I found it between a rock and the glass in the back sort of flattened. I will not replace it. I think my success in keeping them alive has led to both tanks being overcrowded now. I am also sweating the 2 large angels in the big tank. A lot of chasing and splashing water out of the tank. The biggest one isnt really bad but the smaller one insists on going where it isn't welcome over and over again. Every night before the lights go off I get a 1/2 gallon of water in the floor and all over the end of the tank.
